This unique, contemporary home was carefully situated in a large meadow overlooking a magnificent brook that is a haven for wildlife and the town’s water supply.

“My husband and I have been working with Andover Landscape and could not be more pleased. John has worked with us on all aspects of the landscaping around our new home. He works closely with Russell, a landscape architect and together they have collaborated with us to produce a property that reflects us and our tastes.  We have worked with other contractors on past projects and appreciate John’s attention to detail, worth ethic, and craftsmanship to a degree we haven’t previously experienced. He is up front with costs and keep us updated as the project progresses. The result is beautiful”. - Tracie F.

Phase 2 of the project was a one-of-a-kind front entry that the homeowners consider more of an art installation than a landscape element. One of the construction challenges during this build was the fact that the granite needed to stay perfectly positioned throughout the freeze/thaw cycles of a New England winter. A grove of single-stem river birch frames the front walkway and the peeling bark pop in front of the homes horizontal, cedar façade. The aggregate path bordered by slabs of granite adds an artistic element to the walkway. Four large containers surrounded by beach pebbles allows for seasonal plant swap-outs and break up the gray, cedar-shake facade.
